About The Position

PSR Associates is seeking a .NET Developer with Power BI experience to analyze, design, code, and test .NET application components owned by the Application Team. The role includes application maintenance and production support, enhancements, and new development. The developer will work with the Business Analyst, Application Architect, and other Application Development Team members as needed to ensure designs and code meet customer requirements. The position is remote, but candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of Trenton, New Jersey. The developer will build and maintain .NET web applications, backend services, APIs, and console applications; implement data-access layers with Entity Framework Core; and create responsive front-end interfaces. The role also covers SQL Server database design and optimization, schema changes and migrations, complex SQL and T-SQL development, and optimization of EF Core LINQ queries and database operations. The developer will develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, and ensure data accuracy and report performance. The role uses development, database, business intelligence, and testing tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Postman.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
At least 3 years of experience with Entity Framework using Database-First or Code-First approaches, or with other ORM tools.
At least 3 years of SQL Server experience, including database design, SQL Server and T-SQL querying, and optimization.
At least 3 years of JavaScript experience and hands-on experience with at least two frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery.
At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
At least 3 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
At least 3 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience developing Power BI reports and data visualizations.

Knowledge of Azure environment services.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, code, and component/assembly-test .NET application code.
