About The Position
The Lead Full-Stack Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and evolving critical business applications that support ProAg's core policy administration platform. As a key member of the Trailblazers team, this individual will lead the modernization of APH and policy domain applications, helping shape technical strategy while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, serving as a mentor for engineering teams and a trusted partner to Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading software engineering initiatives and technical decision-making
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript (primary technology stack)
- Strong backend architecture and development experience
- Extensive .NET Core experience required
- Ability to mentor developers and drive engineering best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Expert Level React TypeScript
- Modern front-end architecture and design patterns
- Advanced .NET 8 / .NET Core C#
- Microservices architecture
- REST API development
- SQL and PostgreSQL
- Entity Framework
- AWS (S3, Lambda, EKS)
- Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines)
- Git
- CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring and observability tools (Datadog preferred)

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale applications
- Drive technical standards, code quality, and engineering best practices
- Mentor and coach software engineers across the team
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
- Lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
- Architect and develop modern React + TypeScript front-end applications
- Design and build scalable backend services using .NET 8 / .NET Core and C#
- Create and maintain APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions
- Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Drive implementation of permanent solutions to complex business and technical challenges
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Lead sprint planning, technical estimations, and backlog refinement activities
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on architecture and delivery objectives
