About The Position

We are seeking a .Net Developer to join our team. This role involves creating and maintaining ASP.NET web applications with a microservice backend. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary agile team, including Product, Delivery, UX/UI, DevOps, Architecture, Infra, and QA. Your responsibilities will include supporting software architecture design through research and tech spikes, documenting engineering decision logs and knowledge bases, participating in design and code reviews, and assisting with estimations, planning, and deployments.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, or similar industry experience.
  • Good understanding of fundamentals including OOP, design patterns, REST/webservices, software architecture and coding best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in Visual Studio / VS Code, C#, .Net Framework or Core,ASP.Net/Core, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with React / Graph QL.
  • Experience with Azure cloud, including App service, App Functions, Azure Managed SQL, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Blob Storage.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Atlas MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with xUnit, Selenium, Accessibility for web applications testing.
  • Working knowledge of an observability platform like Azure Application Insights or Data Dog.
  • Familiarity with tooling like NuGet, GIT, Swagger, Open API, and Terraform.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other public clouds like AWS or GCP.
  • Commits to open-source projects or significant side projects (send us your GitHub handle!).
  • Knowledge of security, DevOps, enterprise architecture (ESB), AKS, Tyk or other API Gateways.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain ASP.NET web applications with a microservice backend.
  • Collaborate with team members and other groups as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team (Product, Delivery, UX/UI, DevOps, Architecture, Infra, QA).
  • Support software architecture design through research and tech spikes.
  • Document, revise, and augment engineering decision logs, and architecture / technical knowledge base.
  • Participate in design reviews, peer code reviews, spring review with code demos, sprint planning and retros.
  • Assist with estimating and breaking down components into individual work items, project and release planning, and deployments.
