About The Position

The State of Ohio ODRC is seeking a Programmer 3 (PR3) with strong experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Azure, and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded developer capable of working independently across multiple projects, from solution design and technical planning through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Azure.
  • Perform solution design, technical planning, analysis, and system design.
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server applications, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views.
  • Develop and support web applications and APIs.
  • Perform system/unit testing and create test documentation.
  • Create technical documentation covering application functionality and testing methods.
  • Develop business and functional flow diagrams.
  • Recommend and implement software reusability guidelines.
  • Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to peers and lower-level staff.
  • Analyze existing applications and recommend improvements.
  • Work across multiple projects as directed by the Application Manager.
  • Develop reports and perform lower-level programming tasks as needed.
  • Work with Git for source code and document version control.
  • Remain flexible and adopt new tools and technologies as required.
