About The Position

This is a Senior .NET + Azure developer/Lead role with 8+ years of experience in API development on .NET and Azure. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and architecture, to analyze, design, develop, test, maintain, and implement premier software. The role involves performing full life cycle application development, researching technical options, providing guidance, and building proof of concepts. The developer will also determine optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability, and aid Product Management in creating realistic product roadmaps. Collaboration with Principal Engineers and Offshore teams for solution designs, following architectural guidance, is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of .NET software development experience building web-based applications.
• Microsoft development stack: .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5+, C#, JavaScript, RESTful services, ORM, T-SQL, JSON, MVC, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Azure based Architectures.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts to utilize the IAC using terraform to deploy the Azure infrastructure.
• Designing solutions with modern architecture patterns background: Microservices, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Asynchronous Messaging, Service Bus, Event Sourcing, APIs, Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform full life cycle application development, including researching available technical options for features, providing guidance and feedback on the findings, and building proof of concepts to confirm the best approach.
• Determine optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability in cooperation with developers and architects.
• Aid Product Management in the creation of product road maps and ensuring objectives are realistic and achievable.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Offshore team to create solution designs, following Architectural guidance and design.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Perform code reviews for team deliverables to ensure code follows documented standards and best practices.
• Collaborate, own problems/solutions, shift left mindset and drive conversations with the stakeholders.
