This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to apply their existing knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and power plant operations to a team of NERC Services consultants serving a broad range of clients’ needs – including independent power plants, utilities, and asset management firms. The position will combine the subject matter of NERC compliance with the opportunity to build client and project management skills, communication skills, and business development experience, along with leadership opportunities within the NAES NERC Services team. In this position, you will work with our clients providing a comprehensive suite of services to support their NERC Reliability Compliance Program needs. In addition to working in the NAES corporate offices, this will involve travel to client sites to assist in the performance of NERC Compliance Assessments, Gap Analysis, Compliance Program Setups, Compliance Audit Assistance, Mock Audits, Audit Participation, and Training of Client Personnel. To be successful in this position, you must not only excel as a technical subject matter expert but also possess attributes of an effective client and project manager.
