About The Position

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Nephrologist to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital. Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital, with 541 licensed beds, provides adult specialty care to the more than two million residents of Middle Tennessee, Southwestern Kentucky and Northern Alabama. It is a comprehensive stroke center and has the largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region. Saint Thomas and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery. For nearly 20 years, Saint Thomas Medical Partners has provided primary and specialty care to the community spanning 45 counties in Middle Tennessee, and provides care to over 315,000 patients annually. Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
