About The Position
THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION FUNDED UNTIL JUNE 30, 2027. THIS IS A FIVE-YEAR GRANT FUNDED ONE YEAR AT A TIME. The Neonatal Educator provides education, simulation, and consultation services necessary for medical professionals to deliver optimal Newborn clinical care in West Tennessee. This position serves as a vital link between the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology and communities throughout West Tennessee. This educational and consultation service will assist other institutions and hospitals with defining their Newborn status level (Level I-IV). The Neonatal Educator supports delivering and non-delivering hospitals and provides training to Emergency Medical Service providers through education, simulation, and consultation services.
Requirements
- Grant funded position funded until June 30, 2027.
- Five-year grant funded one year at a time.
Responsibilities
- Provides education, simulation, and consultation services for medical professionals to deliver optimal Newborn clinical care in West Tennessee.
