About The Position

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced Level II NDT UT/MT/PT Technicians for a full-time position in the New York/New Jersey area. Relocation is not required. The technician performs nondestructive testing inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), following applicable procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Previous NDT inspection experience is required.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and inspection instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must currently reside in the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Must be willing to work locally in the Los Angeles area.

Nice To Haves

• UT, MT, and PT experience.
• Current NDT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform UT, MT, and PT inspections on a variety of components and equipment.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results according to applicable procedures and standards.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Follow company, client, and safety requirements.
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors, clients, and other team members.
• Maintain required certifications and training.
