About The Position
Mistras Alaska is searching for Non-Destructive Testing Trainees. The candidate shall have at minimum a 40-hour radiation safety course completed. The NDT Trainee will assist NDT level II and III’s. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on, followed by 21 days off or 14 days on followed by 14 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours located on the North Slope of Alaska.
Requirements
- Minimum of a 40-hour radiation safety course completed.
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- NDT training and OJT for different methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, VT) per ASNT SNT-TC-1A.
- Current IRRSP or state card.
- Current level I or higher Rope Access certification IRATA or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
