Responsibilities include interpreting and analyzing test results against UL requirements, verifying equipment accuracy, reviewing production and inspection records, and periodically reviewing manufacturers' programs to ensure compliance. The role also involves evaluating and facilitating corrective actions for non-compliance, understanding construction and test criteria, and communicating with manufacturers, customers, and authorities. The technician will use various instruments for inspections and confirm equipment calibration. Documentation of findings is crucial, along with adherence to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and security practices. This position is based in the Appleton, WI area and requires travel to client locations in Northeast Wisconsin.
