About The Position

We have a new opening in our Colorado office for a Lv. II MT, PT, and UT Technician! This is a full-time job with benefits, PTO, and retirement. The purpose of the NDT Technician 2 is to perform NDT inspections per the assigned and certified method according to client and company standards and procedures along with mentoring technicians in the correct field processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards and NDE methodologies is required.
  • Willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. Takes on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be completed.
  • Willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of NDT experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
  • Must be able to be immediately certified under SNT-TC-1A for the following methods: MT, PT, UT

  • Rope access preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections as per the required method per the correct standards and procedures.
  • Operates tools and equipment to accomplish job assignments and client requirements.
  • Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
  • Setup and calibrate all equipment used, interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports.
  • Safely operates company vehicles and strictly adhere to company safety regulations.
  • Direct, mentor, and train personnel in the method(s) in which certified and capable of.
  • Provide direction and guidance with the codes, standards and other contractual requires.
  • Responsible for all paperwork and turn in a timely manner including safety forms, company required forms, customer forms, and timesheets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally.
  • Follow and enforce the company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
  • Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required personal Protective equipment and safe practices per company policy.
  • Perform other job related tasks as assigned by Management.
