About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring an NDT Tech Ultrasonic in Decatur, IL. As an NDT Tech Ultrasonic, you will be part of a team that provides Ultrasonic inspections to the steel fabrications assembly group. The team performs receiving, in-stream processes, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications. Individuals are responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases. Magnetic particles (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection, and other non-destructive inspection methods are occasionally required. The technician would be based in the production factory building. This is a Full-Time, Long-Term opportunity.
Requirements
- Previous ultrasonic experience is required.
- Must be able to track and enter inspection results in electronic databases.
- Familiarity with magnetic particles (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, and visual weld inspection is occasionally required.
