NDT Quality Inspector 2nd Shift
About The Position
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire an NDT Quality Inspector in our Hager City, WI plant on 2nd Shift. In this role, you will perform UT, MT, VT and dimensional inspection of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and all requirements. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Background in Quality Control or related field
- Experienced in the use of inspection tools and precision measuring equipment
- Hands on experience performing Visual Inspections on welds.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
- NDT classroom training certificate and documented OJT hours
- Ability to work second shift
- Ability to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time
- Basic knowledge of Welding and Fabrication
Nice To Haves
- UT Level II Shear Wave
- VT Level II
- MT Level II
- CWI preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform all UT Inspection functions following the requirements of ASNT SNT TC-1A for a Level II
- Perform visual and ultrasonic weld inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1
- Perform magnetic particle inspection using dry powder yoke method
- Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products
- Ensure all documentation is accurately and neatly completed
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
- Be professional with all personnel and possess effective communication skills
- Participate in the training process of Level I Inspectors
- Have the ability to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time
