About The Position

The NDT Operator is responsible for operating Eddy Current, NDT machines, and Tappers according to established procedures. This role involves ensuring product quality, performing setups and changeovers, maintaining a safe work environment, and effectively communicating job-related information. The operator must understand production processes, quality policies, and utilize measuring equipment.

Requirements

• Understand process sheets used in production.
• Perform independently the setup and changeover processes for the Eddy Current, NDT machine and Tappers.
• Understand and follow internal quality policy and job-related procedures.
• Knowledge and use of measuring equipment used in production area.
• Operate the Eddy Current, NDT machine and Tapper to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow all procedures as noted on control plans and process sheets for the Eddy Current, NDT machines and Tappers.
• Act properly and timely when out of control conditions or nonconforming product is detected.
• Effectively communicate job related information.
• Complete setups and changeovers as required for the Eddy Current, NDT machines and Tappers.
• Stage parts to allow for proper flow from one operation to the next.
• Maintain a clean safe, and organized work area.
• Perform all other duties as required.
