About The Position

The NDT Operator (Level 1) is responsible for inspecting parts for defects and ensuring compliance with specifications. This role involves operating testing equipment to evaluate product quality, performing system capability checks, and following established procedures. The operator will accurately document work performed, maintain required records, and handle materials, including hazardous waste, in compliance with safety standards. A clean, organized, and safe work environment is essential, along with supporting inventory movement and storage management. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is key to meeting production goals, and additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility when needed
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Positive attitude and clear communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
• Willingness to learn and obtain Level 1 certification
• Ability to pass a visual acuity exam
• Comfort working under pressure and tight timelines
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards

• Casting experience is a plus
