We are seeking an NDT Level I Inspector specializing in Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals, playing a key part in ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components through precise and reliable non-destructive testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3-years of experience in non-destructive testing within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, components, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ISO).
  • Able to obtain NDT Level II certificate within first year
  • Familiarity with quality systems and standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Skilled in using NDT equipment, inspection software, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT using Liquid Penetrant Testing (fluorescent preferred), ensuring adherence to industry and company standards.
  • Assess aerospace parts for quality compliance, interpret test results, and identify defects or anomalies.
  • Resolve technical queries and perform both mechanical and electronic inspections to verify accuracy and completeness of production components.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain NDT equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies.
  • Prepare thorough inspection reports with detailed findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of NDT procedures. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors.
  • Support various NDT-related projects and foster knowledge-sharing within the team. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
