About The Position

Turner Specialty Services, L.L.C. is hiring experienced Level II NDE Technicians for work in the Beaumont, Texas–Lake Charles, Louisiana area. The role involves performing nondestructive examination duties in accordance with the applicable referencing code. Candidates must hold, at a minimum, certifications in Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), as well as RT Level II certification. Applicants without current UTT and PT certifications must provide classroom training certificates and evidence of required field experience. Local candidates are preferred, and per diem is not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT); if not currently certified, provide classroom training certificates and evidence of required field experience.
• RT Level II certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• TWIC card.
• Complete a drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide NDE classroom training records, OJT hours, past certifications, and a resume.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nondestructive testing inspections using various methods.
• Interpret and report inspection results.
• Provide support to Level III personnel.
• Instruct and/or supervise trainees.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
