About The Position

MISTRAS Services Inc. is looking for dedicated Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Technicians to join our growing laboratory team in St-Lambert. Whether you are a
seasoned Level II or Level III or a motivated NDT professional looking to level
up your career, we offer a pathway for technical development and long-term
growth.

We are specifically looking for candidates eager to support high-stakes
industries including Aerospace, Defense (DoD), and Manufacturing.

Training Bonus: Not yet certified? We are committed to developing talent.
High-potential candidates will be supported through training and certification,
including a unique opportunity to participate in an intensive 6-month training
program in the United States.

Requirements

• Certification: UT Level II or Level III certification (current or previously held). We will consider strong candidates with at least 12 months of NDT experience willing to train toward certification.
• Education: High School Diploma or CEGEP Degree.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex codes, standards, and technical specifications.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel to the U.S. for approximately six (6) months for specialized training.
• Reliability: Flexibility to work in a laboratory/shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• NAS-410 Level II or Level III certification. (Or CGSB/ASNT)
• Experience with aerospace components and composite materials.
• Additional NDT certifications (PT, MT, RT) are a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Inspections: Conduct UT inspections on various components and materials based on specific procedures and standards.
• Equipment Mastery: Set up, calibrate, and operate advanced UT equipment.
• Analysis: Interpret and evaluate inspection results against codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Reporting: Document findings and generate detailed technical inspection reports.
• Mentorship: Assist in training and mentoring Level I technicians and trainees.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
