About The Position

The Level II NDE Inspector supports manufacturing and engineering operations within the Holtec Advanced Manufacturing Division by performing nondestructive inspections to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. This role applies certified NDT methods to evaluate materials, components, and assemblies, documents inspection results, supports resolution of nonconformances, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • 1–2 years of relevant nondestructive inspection experience
  • ASNT SNT‑TC‑1A Level II certifications in MT, PT, and VT (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and quality assurance practices
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of welding processes and weld symbols
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Certifications or experience in metrology, quality inspection, or CNC programming preferred
  • Additional ASNT Level II certifications (UT or RT) preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive examinations (MT, PT, and VT) on materials, components, and assemblies in accordance with approved procedures
  • Operate inspection equipment and interpret test results as part of daily inspection activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and industry standards
  • Analyze inspection results and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address inspection findings and resolve nonconformances
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and submit reports prior to leaving job sites
  • Adhere to company safety requirements and wear company‑issued personal protective equipment and uniforms as required
