About The Position

We are seeking passionate educators like YOU to assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum. In this supportive role, you'll contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships. Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression. You'll also play a key role in observing and assessing the children's development, aiding in the customization of the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child. Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • AS Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Completion of 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire (we will help you get there)
  • Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children

Nice To Haves

  • A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education
  • Prior experience in a licensed childcare center

Responsibilities
