About The Position
This role smooths surfaces of wooden articles, such as cabinet panels using sandpaper.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year related experience and/or training
- Ability to print and speak simple words in English
- Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to pass medical respiratory evaluation
Responsibilities
- Places proper grit sandpaper on hand sander
- Sands specified portions of wood products
- Uses hands and eye to feel and watch for proper sanding and any unremovable defects in the product
- Continually checks sandpaper for wear
- Keeps area clean and organized
- Performs other related duties as needed
