About The Position

The State of North Carolina is seeking an experienced NC FAST Reports Developer to support the development and maintenance of reports, data extracts, ETL processes, and reporting solutions for the NC FAST Case Management System. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, ETL, relational database modeling, and BI reporting tools, along with the ability to analyze business requirements and develop reliable reporting solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Oracle and ETL tools.
5+ years of PL/SQL development and relational database modeling.
5+ years of experience with structured system development methodologies.
5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence/reporting tools such as BIRT or Business Objects.
2+ years of Agile development experience.
2+ years of Data Warehouse experience.
Strong SQL development, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience developing dashboards with Power BI and Azure Synapse.
Familiarity with Amazon Redshift and Tableau.
Experience with NC FAST, Cúram, SNAP, FNS, healthcare, or government systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex reports, data extracts, and ETL processes.
Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries, including queries against large tables containing CLOB/XML data.
Gather and analyze business and reporting requirements.
Design reporting solutions, data structures, and report layouts.
Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve existing queries and reports.
Develop data validation, audit, and quality-control strategies.
Analyze operational metrics and develop reports/dashboards.
Support data warehouse and reporting activities.
Collaborate with business and technical teams using Agile methodologies.
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
