About The Position

Assembles prepared panels according to ticket using a variety of hand tools. This role involves reviewing work tickets and drawings, dry fitting test doors, assembling doors using staples, pins, or nails, and performing quality checks. The assembler is responsible for ensuring all instructions and specifications are met, checking doors for squareness and accurateness, and placing doors on a conveyor for inspection. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year related experience and/or training
• Ability to print and speak simple words in English
• Ability to work well within a diverse team environment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read a tape measure

Responsibilities

• Review work ticket and drawings to make sure all instructions and specifications are met
• Dry fits test door from order to ensure specifications are met
• Assemble doors using staples, pins, or nails according to ticket specification
• Checks each door for squareness and accurateness
• Performs quality checks on doors
• Places door on conveyor for inspection
• Keeps area clean and organized
• Other related duties as required
