Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in case management, social services, community outreach, workforce development, financial coaching, or a related human services field.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Passionate about serving individuals and families.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, advocacy, and building community partnerships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, Veterans, or other underserved populations.
  • Experience in a nonprofit or grant-funded environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strengths-based case management and individualized support to participants.
  • Help individuals access community resources, public benefits, housing, healthcare, employment, disability services, Veteran services, and other supportive programs.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group financial coaching and financial education.
  • Develop action plans and support participants as they work toward achieving their personal and financial goals.
  • Maintain accurate participant records and documentation using electronic case management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with program guidelines, grant requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Collect and report participant outcomes and program data.
  • Collaborate with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community partners to expand available resources.
  • Represent Easter Seals Greater Houston at community meetings, networking events, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and United Way Navigation Network activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
