Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) Instructor/Curriculum Developer – USSF Guardian Enlisted Training
About The Position
Aleut Federal is seeking a Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on January 1, 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The USSF is refining roles for its personnel to better prepare for dominating in the space-domain. In this new construct, enlisted Guardians serve as technical specialists who execute orders, act as leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors across satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations in the space-domain. The GET initiative is transforming initial skills training to achieve the necessary technical depth in knowledge, skills, and abilities for the enlisted force.
Requirements
- Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
- Experience developing curriculum using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) standards.
- Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and instruct Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) and NAVWAR curriculum; instruct on operational employment, vulnerabilities, and warfighting implications of PNT systems.
- Assess and mentor students.
- Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
- Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
- Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
- Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
- Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
- Additional duties as assigned.
