Corvid Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Navigation Engineer to join our Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing navigation algorithms for Corvid's flight computer. This role includes expanding upon Corvid's flight-proven navigation code that operates across multiple flight regimes (subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic) and is integrated with multiple sensor types (tactical, navigation grades), as well as performing verification and validation activities with the flight computer prior to flight tests. You will work with tactical grade IMUs and GPS receivers, and also will be responsible for developing mathematical models and associated flight code for simulating and integrating new sensors (such as seekers) into the navigation code. You will work with Corvid's aerospace vehicle simulators, GPS simulators, and seeker scene generation software in this role. The ideal candidate should enjoy developing mathematical models that mechanize aerospace navigation problems, simulate the problems in Python and C++, and enjoy implementing the solutions in flight hardware.
