Naval Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
About The Position
Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Systems Naval Quality Assurance (QA) Manager in support of U.S. Navy Planning Yard requirements, supporting Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Design Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Systems Naval Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will report directly to the Q.E.D. Systems Program Manager (PM) and will be responsible for developing and administering the Q.E.D. LCS Planning Yard Quality Assurance Program. This position is a contingent hire position contingent upon a potential award of a new U.S. Navy contract to QED Systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10-years of experience in Objective Quality Evaluation (OQE), Quality Assurance (QA) processes and implementation, and NAVSEA Standard Items is required.
- Experience must also include Quality Assurance audits, training, and inspections.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of NMP-MOM, Navy Ship Planning organization and processes; and a general knowledge of Government contracting are desired.
- LCS and other Surface Combatant experience is preferred.
