About The Position

As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of NAVSEA. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, Microsoft Office, or Sharepoint and regular interactions with technical warrant holders, program managers, and contract analysts. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in program or project management
  • Experience with the development and management of program roadmaps, plans, and schedules to meet the goals and objectives of the Program Office
  • Experience with MS Office Professional Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prepare formal program briefings and status reports using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to both learn and teach
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a NEAVSEA Program Office
  • Experience working with Unmanned Underwater Vehicles, Unmanned Surface Vehicles, or Unmanned Expeditionary Vehicles
  • Experience preparing and delivering senior level briefing reports to government staff or corporate leadership
  • Knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures
  • Ability to develop metrics to monitor progress against programmatic goals, baselines, and objectives including cost, schedule, performance, and risk
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
