About The Position

As an advisor, you’ll provide enterprise-wide expertise in designated functional and concentration areas, supporting Booz Allen clients in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives. This role is responsible for delivering solutions and recommendations across complex tasks, driving performance improvements, and influencing the direction of programs and projects. You’ll apply advanced business management principles and analytical techniques to formulate long and short-term strategies, interface with senior stakeholders, and support operational excellence across multiple organizations.

Requirements

12+ years of experience developing and implementing naval aviation maintenance and operations processes
Experience developing solutions and recommendations across multiple complex tasks and organizations
Experience with statistical modeling, business or continuous process improvement methodologies, and performance measurement
Experience briefing senior military or government leaders
Ability to manage analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or Operations Research

Nice To Haves

Experience in the military as a commissioned officer or senior-level DoD government officer
Experience working on a TYCOM, SYSCOM, naval operations, or Fleet Readiness Center staff
Experience supporting naval aviation policies and initiatives such as the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program and Naval Sustainment System-Aviation (NSS-A)
Experience applying continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Kata
Experience with Booz Allen’s methodologies, tools, and client environments
Possession of strong communication and presentation skills
Master’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic direction, vision, and missions for complex programs, collaborating with program or project managers and senior client leadership to influence objectives and outcomes.
Provide insight and advice on strategic direction, leveraging up-to-date, industry-standard practices to drive organizational performance improvements.
Serve as a senior advisor to government clients, supporting program and project operations and evaluating the adequacy and acceptability of evolving plans, governance, and change management strategies.
Develop new or refine existing processes, charters, instructions, and operations to improve customer business methodology, applying advanced knowledge of business management principles, organizational structures, and information management techniques.
Analyze business, operational, and financial processes to identify and recommend approaches for redefining, planning, organizing, designing, developing, and modifying current practices.
Develop program or project plans, guidelines, and controls, performing tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical state-of-the-art technical knowledge.
Interface with senior client stakeholders, including military and government leaders, to communicate findings and recommendations.
