About The Position

We are currently seeking a Naval architect to join our business. Reporting to a Senior Naval Architect, you’ll apply your engineering skills to develop designs, calculations and technical solutions across the full engineering lifecycle. You’ll work independently with support when needed, contributing to technical investigations, documentation, reviews and engineering decisions. You’ll also help improve processes, share knowledge within the team and support the development of safe, high‑quality and innovative engineering outcomes.

Requirements

Around 2 years of experience in a relevant technical or engineering role
A solid understanding of engineering toolsets such as PLM, MRP, design, simulation and analysis software
An accredited engineering bachelor’s degree (Washington Accord) or equivalent qualifications eligible for Professional Engineer membership
Eligibility for membership with a recognised engineering body and a commitment to ongoing professional development/chartership
A current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence
Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level; AGSVA Negative Vetting – NV1
Compliance with the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the AU Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 will be assessed.
