The Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, Inc. (PBRC) is seeking a highly motivated, technological savvy, and organized individual to help launch the Maryland Immigrant Legal Assistance Project’s Naturalization Clinics in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and the Citizenship Maryland initiative. Clinics will take place once per month at various locations, statewide (predominantly Baltimore City and Baltimore, Montgomery, and Prince George’s Counties). The right person will have 2-4 years of experience in immigration law (with an emphasis on naturalization applications), comfort working with and mentoring volunteers who do not primarily practice immigration law, and a willingness to help with administrative tasks necessary to providing pro se assistance with N-400 applications. It is a full-time position, with an initial contract for 6 months. However, if the program is successful, PBRC plans to seek funds to continue the position beyond the initial six months.
