One Natural Resources Technician (Seasonal Worker, Full-time, 40 hours/week) position is available with the Colorado State University (CSU) Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). This position will provide entry-level training and experience on a range of natural resources projects supporting the Natural Resources Management (NRM) program at Minot Air Force Base, ND. Seeking a driven Natural Resources Intern to contribute to wildlife and ecosystem management as part of the military mission. This position is designed for aspiring biologists or ecologists to gain experience in plant and animal identification and field techniques with the aim of applying collected data to address complex interdisciplinary resource challenges. A successful candidate will use a variety of field methods to better understand the complex relationship between species and their habitat and how to manage for the military mission. This role is ideal for candidates ready for hand-on wildlife handling and ecological monitoring. This position is not-to-exceed 63 working days. This position is onsite, and the Natural Resources Technician must have reliable transportation to the site. The ECDP is unable to provide relocation or housing stipends. Position Location: Minot Air Force Base, ND The base is located in Ward County, 13 miles north of Minot, North Dakota and only 50 miles from the Canadian border.
