This is an upper-level natural resources position in the New Source Review Program that reviews and conducts modeling and ambient air impact analyses for air quality permit applications to construct or modify industrial facilities. The position leads modeling activities and conducts ambient air impact analyses; reviews designs, calculations, and other documents for details, accuracy, and completeness; examines the basis for air pollution controls and compliance with air quality standards and regulations; drafts technical analyses and proposed permit conditions for public notice; drafts authorization letters for management review; and participates in cross-functional projects within the Air Quality Division.
