The Natural Resources Programs Coordinator reports to the General Manager of Sealaska’s Natural Resources Department and assists in advancing various program goals for the department, including maintaining and updating program guidelines and rules and contributing to development of funding strategies, philanthropic initiatives, and emerging economic opportunities. The role is the primary writer for funding proposals and is responsible for tracking and reporting project progress in close coordination with project managers. The NR Programs Coordinator will ensure compliance with funding requirements and rules, as well as overseeing the department’s field safety protocols. A key function of the role will be to support collaborative efforts in alignment with objectives of Sealaska Corporation focused on land stewardship and economic growth in communities of Southeast Alaska. The role will be based in Sealaska’s office located in Ketchikan, AK. The role will be hybrid with a mutually agreed upon amount of both in-office presence and remote telework.
