This role is part of the Retail Gas Operations Team within Trading & Shipping (T&S) Gas and Power Trading Americas (GPTA). Requirements

  • Knowledge of natural gas scheduling or similar commodity operations
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred)
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail and commercial focus
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with EBBs and ETRM systems (Endur experience a plus)
  • Senior experience in oil and gas industry; Mid-level experience in natural gas scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial and industrial end users across assigned Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) or functional locations.
  • Balance gas deliveries with customer usage in accordance with LDC balancing requirements to avoid LDC or pipeline penalties.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure supply aligns with market demand and to address customer satisfaction updates as needed.
  • Schedule and submit gas nominations to LDCs.
  • Monitor gas consumption using LDC meter reads and other systems or data sources.
  • Validate the accuracy of scheduling activities and invoices with LDCs and/or pipelines.
  • Maintain and update supply and nomination data in gas management systems, ETRM (Endur).
  • Review and verify LDC information and invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations.
  • Apply working knowledge of LDC tariffs and balancing parameters to daily activities.
  • Provide operational support and coverage across multiple LDCs and functional responsibilities as needed.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational or scheduling issues in a timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with pipelines, customers, and internal teams.
  • Partner with finance, risk, and accounting for timely and accurate reporting.
  • Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across scheduling teams.
