About The Position
As a Natural Foods Clerk at Broulim’s, you will work in the natural foods department and help customers find natural, organic, and specialty products. You will provide customer service, stock and organize merchandise, maintain department cleanliness, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. The role supports Broulim’s efforts to promote health and wellness and offer natural and organic products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry heavy objects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for assisting customers and addressing inquiries.
- Organization skills to manage tasks and priorities.

- Attention to detail when stocking and organizing products.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required.

- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations related to natural and organic products.
Responsibilities
- Help customers locate natural and organic products, provide product information, and offer recommendations.
- Stock shelves and displays, ensuring merchandise is neatly arranged and properly labeled.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and receiving natural foods products.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.
- Provide product demonstrations and samples to customers.
- Assist with promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive department sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department, including shelves, displays, and work areas.
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient department operations and excellent customer service.
