About The Position

Nao Now is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Online English Teachers with a background in Science, STEM, or related fields to deliver 1-on-1 virtual English lessons to students ages 5–12. This is a fully remote, part-time independent contractor role. Teachers lead structured 25-minute English lessons using our pre-built interactive curriculum. No lesson planning is required—your role is to bring energy, clarity, and encouragement to each session while helping students build confidence in spoken English. We're looking for educators who can communicate clearly, simplify complex ideas, and create engaging learning experiences for young learners. A science or STEM background is highly valued, as many of our students enjoy exploring a wide range of academic topics while developing their English skills.

Requirements

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's degree or proof of enrollment in a bachelor's program
• Degree or academic background in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering, Mathematics, STEM/STEAM, or another related field
• Experience working with children ages 5–12
• Strong communication skills and an engaging on-camera presence
• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
• Quiet and professional teaching environment
• Headset (noise-cancelling preferred)
• Wired ethernet connection required
• Stable internet (minimum 60 Mbps)
• Computer less than five years old recommended
• Professional, distraction-free workspace

Responsibilities

• Teach 25-minute, 1-on-1 English lessons to children ages 5–12
