WireScreen is seeking a National Security Analyst to break news, explain complex topics, and produce data-driven research on the technologies and supply chains shaping U.S.–China competition. This role is a blend of journalism and analysis, with work intended for both the public and WireScreen's customers, including national security professionals. The analyst will report and write weekly on topics relevant to customers, such as defense, national security, export controls, cybersecurity, rare earths, quantum, AI, and semiconductors, with opportunities to break news. The role requires writing at different levels of detail, from public-facing pieces to slimmed-down briefings for national security or commercial audiences, all grounded in underlying data. Analysts will have the flexibility to develop their own stories, provided the WireScreen platform has the necessary data. The position also involves producing two or more deep-dive special reports annually and collaborating with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team to present and discuss reports with federal and commercial customers. Public representation at events, conferences, and media appearances is also expected, along with occasional collaboration with journalists from partner publications.
