About The Position

National Sales Representative Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is currently seeking driven individuals to join our team as National Sales Representative . This will be a "Hybrid" role where you'll work remote AND at our corporate office. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in outside sales and demonstrate a strong desire for professional development. In the role of National Sales Representative , you will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships and nurturing existing ones within your designated territory. Key responsibilities include: Identify National Account opportunities. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service throughout U.S. Providing consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts. Organizing and executing targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing.

Requirements

  • Able and willing to work a "Hybrid" role where you work remote AND at the office.
  • A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience. (Roofing experience not required).
  • Cold Calling/Prospecting experience.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Travel, as required, to prospect customer offices/sites to assist Senior Sales Representatives to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations.
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
  • Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset
  • Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
