Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience with strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to build trust quickly with customers and internal partners.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Maintain a competitive, growth-oriented edge.
  • Strong planning discipline (business and sales planning, budgeting/forecasting).
  • Solid digital/CRM fluency to keep the team focused, organized, and executing.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to consistently deliver against targets.
  • Strong commercial judgment with well-developed strategic sales planning and negotiation skills.
  • Experience building business/sales plans, forecasting accurately, and managing territory budgets to meet objectives.
  • Ability to build durable customer partnerships, grow existing accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
  • High competency using CRM and sales analytics to drive action, paired with excellent written and verbal communication (English; French is an asset).
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada as sponsorship is not available.
  • Final candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check.

  • Previous experience in consumer-packaged goods or Pet Food Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Own national sales performance by leading and motivating the sales team to build winning account plans, execute in-store merchandising and training that grows brand visibility, and consistently deliver against sales targets.
  • Take accountability for forecasting and territory budgets, use data and CRM discipline to turn insights into clear action plans, and proactively remove barriers to customer success by partnering closely with operations and distribution.
  • Stay plugged into market and competitor trends, strengthen long-standing customer relationships, and directly manage a portfolio of key accounts while developing new business opportunities that move the business forward.
