About The Position

Skilled Trades Partners (STP) is a rapidly growing skilled trades staffing and workforce solutions provider supporting some of the nation's leading material handling, conveyor installation, automation, warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution companies. As we continue to expand nationally, we are seeking an experienced National Accounts Business Development Manager with a proven background in skilled trades staffing sales. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and managing national accounts, generating new business opportunities, and partnering with companies involved in material handling systems, conveyor installation, warehouse automation, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, and related construction services. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who understands both the staffing industry and the unique workforce challenges faced by industrial contractors, integrators, and installation companies. We are looking for someone with a track record of developing client relationships, securing new accounts, and driving revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Business Development experience within the staffing industry
  • Strong preference for candidates with skilled trades, construction, industrial, manufacturing, or workforce solutions sales experience
  • Experience selling staffing services to material handling, conveyor installation, automation, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial clients highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and developing long-term client relationships
  • Experience managing national accounts and multi-location customers
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative sales skills
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Comfortable working remotely while managing a national territory

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow national and regional accounts within the material handling, conveyor, automation, warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial construction sectors
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach
  • Build relationships with decision-makers including Operations Managers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, HR Leaders, and Executive Leadership teams
  • Partner with material handling and conveyor installation companies to provide skilled trades workforce solutions across the United States
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through contract negotiation and account expansion
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery of skilled trades talent to clients
  • Maintain an active pipeline and accurate CRM records
  • Travel as needed to client sites, industry events, and trade shows
