About The Position

The position of National Sales Director is to provide leadership for Ariston USA’s Sales Team. This includes development and execution of sales strategy, oversight of Sales Managers & Sales Specialists. This role will co-exist with Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality by providing market feedback as it relates to all departments.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in heating and hydronics industry.
  • Demonstrated sales strategy execution, with progressive growth track record year over year,
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships across all levels internally and externally,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage time and team effectively,
  • Demonstrated track record in sales team management, KPI tracking, sales forecasting and building customer relations,
  • Solid stress management skills, and the ability to maintain a rational and collected demeanor.
  • BS/BA Degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in outside sales with industry knowledge of boilers.
  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in HVAC, hydronic heating or water heating products.
  • Experience in Sales Leadership and Strategy
  • Language Skills – Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to effectively present information to management.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Physical Activities: Ability to stand, walk, sit and maneuver around tight boiler rooms. Ability to reach and use arms, hands and fingers. Ability to hear.
  • Weight Limitations – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision Requirements – Close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
  • Travel – As needed, more than 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of Sales team in all aspects, include personnel development, strategy execution, performance and metrics.
  • Develo and maintain loyal customer relationships, and managing various channels in both residential and commercial water heating, and potentially air conditioning.
  • Develop and promote value proposition across all brands, as the market leader.
  • Coordinate activities with Heating North America Leadership Team.
  • Analyze markets for Ariston products and partner with Marketing organization to ensure representation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts, and create or update product information including; quotes, data sheets, catalogs, technical communication, applications, product training programs, etc.
  • Support training programs for sales team, representatives, contractors and distributors to ensure products are well understood.
  • Develop presentations for sales, training, trade shows and conferences to promote products.
  • Maintains records and develop reports to track area activity.
  • Keep customers apprised of new products and services.
