About The Position

Join the Hirsch team as a National Outside Sales Specialist! The National Outside Sales Specialist will develop and maintain relationships with plumbing contractors, wholesalers, distributors, and commercial accounts across assigned territories. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive new business while supporting existing customers. Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction supply, or wholesale distribution
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing products and industry practices preferred
  • Proven track record of business development and account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned regions
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within plumbing wholesale and commercial markets
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
  • Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
  • Work closely with internal sales, customer service, and operations teams
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Travel nationally as needed to support customers and attend industry events/trade shows
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
