About The Position

The National Manager, People & Culture is a trusted strategic partner responsible for supporting a portfolio of MOVATI Clubs and ensuring a consistent, high-quality People & Culture experience. This role leads HR shared services and drives the implementation of best-practice programs in talent development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and change management. As a key advisor to functional managers, the National Manager provides proactive guidance, strategic insight, and risk-mitigating consultation to support strong leadership decision-making. This position plays a critical role in shaping a positive employee experience, strengthening organizational capability, and ensuring alignment with MOVATI’s culture, values, and long-term business objectives. Requirements

  • A university degree or college diploma in a related field (HR, Business, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR leadership or advisory role.
  • Comfort working through changing priorities and ambiguity with confidence and calm.
  • Strong judgment, tact, diplomacy, and the ability to stay composed in urgent or sensitive situations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills - you connect easily with leaders, employees, and peers.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including strong Excel capability.
  • Excellent organization, time management, written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel to Clubs across the region.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR designation (CHRP/CHRL) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring policies, controls, and legislation are followed with care.
  • Staying current on HR best practices.
  • Spending meaningful time in Clubs to stay connected to real-time challenges.
  • Contributing to special initiatives that enhance People & Culture programs and support broader organizational improvement.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for leaders and employees, helping them navigate day-to-day HR needs with clarity and confidence.
  • Championing People & Culture programs in a way that helps leaders feel supported and equipped.
  • Offering guidance that is fair, consistent, and aligned with MOVATI’s values when employee concerns arise or situations become complex.
  • Guiding leaders through employee relations matters, conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management.
  • Providing day-to-day HR support in a way that reinforces MOVATI’s culture and empowers leaders to make thoughtful decisions.
  • Leading core HR programs with consistency and care.
  • Delivering training, succession planning, and close partnership with functional managers to strengthen leadership capability and maintain alignment across Clubs.
