Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician with industrial / mission critical experience. (Data Center, Waste Water, etc.)
  • Read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Knowledge of the NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines.
  • Bend conduit by hand and use all standard power tools (saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches).
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Positive and “Can Do!” attitude, team player, and leader
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Follow all company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a job site of journeyman / electricians / apprentices
  • Install service wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems on commercial projects
  • Install projects as contracted and designed utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams
  • Install all electrical work to meet or exceed current National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as local codes and requirements
  • Completes accurate and thorough documentation of work performed and processes involved
  • Daily Reporting, Look-Aheads, and progress updates required
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks
  • Follow correct process and procedures for all company policies
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company programs
  • Leads, guides, and / or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
