Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician with industrial / mission critical experience. (Data Center, Waste Water, etc.)
- Read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints, and instructions.
- Knowledge of the NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines.
- Bend conduit by hand and use all standard power tools (saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches).
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Positive and “Can Do!” attitude, team player, and leader
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead a job site of journeyman / electricians / apprentices
- Install service wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems on commercial projects
- Install projects as contracted and designed utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams
- Install all electrical work to meet or exceed current National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as local codes and requirements
- Completes accurate and thorough documentation of work performed and processes involved
- Daily Reporting, Look-Aheads, and progress updates required
- Conduct weekly toolbox talks
- Follow correct process and procedures for all company policies
- Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company programs
- Leads, guides, and / or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
