About The Position
We are looking for an analytical and engaging National Director of Revenue Management who can balance big-picture thinking, business priorities and operational realities. This person will lead the team, ensure consistency in revenue management practices and guide strategies aimed at optimizing room revenue and hotel performance across the portfolio. Through strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, they will help inform commercial decisions and support the execution of action plans in close collaboration with General Managers and key internal teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in revenue management, including responsibility for a portfolio of multiple hotels or markets.
- Strong knowledge of RMS, CRS and PMS systems, as well as Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience leading and developing a team, with a demonstrated ability to engage and bring people together.
- Strong business judgment and the agility to balance big-picture thinking, priorities and operational realities.
- A strong interest in and comfort with leveraging data and generative AI tools to enhance analysis and decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, due to the nature of the role and regular interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners and teams across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Define national revenue management strategies and priorities.
- Oversee performance across the hotel portfolio and recommend priority actions.
- Lead, engage and develop the revenue management team with both a strategic and operational perspective, while ensuring consistency in practices across the portfolio.
- Own the revenue strategy and performance of a portfolio of hotels.
- Oversee the governance and optimal use of the revenue management system.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly revenue forecasting.
- Present clear analyses and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
