About The Position

At Gallagher Benefit Services, the National Director - Health Pools Business Intelligence and Analytics is a critical leadership role responsible for driving strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives within Gallagher’s Health Pool Practice. This position aims to enhance the value of Gallagher’s health pool solutions by leveraging data-driven insights, optimizing operational workflows, and delivering innovative strategies that differentiate Gallagher in the marketplace. The role encompasses four key areas: Pool Finance, Pool Business Intelligence, Pool Operations, and Pool Strategy. The National Director will lead efforts to benchmark pricing competitiveness, consult on quoting and renewals, implement scalable analytics solutions, and design operational frameworks that ensure efficiency and consistency across the practice. Additionally, the position will focus on driving growth by presenting Gallagher’s unique value proposition to high-value clients and prospects, while supporting the development of new pools and onboarding new clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical expertise, operational leadership skills, and a client-centric approach. The National Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE), to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with Gallagher’s broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Office Products
  • Intermediate knowledge of database systems and their functionalities
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation on quoting, renewals, and forecasting for health pool clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals.
  • Conduct cross-PTC (Pool Trust Consortium) performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Benchmark pricing competitiveness on a national scale to ensure Gallagher’s health pool solutions remain competitive and strategically positioned in the marketplace.
  • Strategically support underperforming pools by diagnosing challenges and implementing tailored solutions to improve financial and operational performance.
  • Implement and scale custom employer dashboard analytics to provide actionable insights for clients, enabling them to make informed decisions about their health pool strategies.
  • Offer consulting support to clients on the effective usage of analytics tools, ensuring maximum impact and value.
  • Conduct comprehensive analytics on the full GBS (Gallagher Benefit Services) book of pool business to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop practice-wide benchmarking tools to enhance decision-making and provide clients with comparative insights across the health pool landscape.
  • Partner with the Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE) to implement data management best practices and automation for health pool clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data handling.
  • Design scalable workflow frameworks to optimize operational efficiency and consistency across the Health Pool Practice.
  • Create and maintain a national operations playbook to standardize processes, ensure best practices, and drive operational excellence across all health pool operations.
  • Drive the value proposition of the Health Pool Practice to clients, positioning Gallagher as a market leader and fueling growth opportunities.
  • Present Gallagher’s health pool solutions to high-value clients and prospects, showcasing the unique benefits and differentiators of the practice.
  • Support the stand-up of new pools, including dental, vision, and new client onboarding, to expand the practice’s offerings and market reach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies that align with client needs and Gallagher’s organizational goals.
