About The Position

The National College Leadership Program is designed for individuals interested in a career in operations management or sales within Encore's nationwide network. This 5-month Manager in Training program, typically starting in June or July, prepares participants for immediate placement into operations, production, or sales manager roles in venues such as luxury hotels, casinos, and conference centers. The program emphasizes development opportunities, mobility, rewards, and a connected culture, referred to as 'Focus on You'. Trainees will receive support and training, including access to cutting-edge technology and blended learning programs, to help them make an impact on clients and their future.

Requirements

4-year college graduate with a BA/BS degree.
At least 1 year of related professional work experience or a combination of employment/internships.
Strong interest in a management career with the opportunity for advancement and promotion.
Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
Technical aptitude demonstrated through interest and exposure to new technology.
Ability to work at a hotel location within major metro markets.
Willingness to relocate within the US.
Graduating within the Fall class of 2025 or Spring class of 2026.

Nice To Haves

Preference for Hospitality, Business/Management, Communications, Event Management, Theater, or related field.
Prior experience in management, operations, technology and/or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

Participate in Technical, Operations, and Sales rotations.
Engage in hands-on learning in venues alongside field leaders.
Complete instructor-led training at the corporate office in Chicago, IL.
Obtain certifications through online courses from ENCORE University Academies (Leadership, Technical, Operations, Sales, and Service).
