About The Position

Monarch Property Management is seeking an EPA Certified Apartment Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join their FAMILY. This position involves traveling with a small team throughout the U.S. to assist at various apartment communities in several states, with approximately 75% of the work requiring out-of-state travel. Requirements

Dry walling, including painting and carpentry
Plumbing, including sweating copper pipe
Electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
Troubleshooting appliance problems, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposals
HVAC and/or boiler systems experience and EPA Certification
Water heaters, both electric and gas
A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position.
This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening.
Valid driver’s license required.
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
Maintaining property grounds
Preventative maintenance
Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas

$22.00- $25.00 per hour + $50.00 per diem on travel days
